How To View Free Printable Items
All of our free printable categories are listed on the free printable home page as well as at the bottom of every category page.
To view a free printable item simply select a category link. Then you will be presented with links to the various free printable pages in that category. Most of our free printable pages are graphic images which can be viewed, printed or saved to your computer.
To view a free printable page click on a page link with your left mouse button. The page will open in a new window or tab. Please see "How To Print Free Printable Items" below for detailed instructions on printing from here.
To save a free printable page click on the page link with your right mouse button. A menu will open with various choices. Select "save target as" if you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer. Other internet browsers should have something similar. Then a "save as" dialog box should appear letting you select where to save the file. Select a location on your computer where you can find it and also note the file name. Then click "save" to save the file to your computer for future use.
How To Print Free Printable Items
After opening the free printable page in a new window or tab, as described above, select "print preview" from the "file" menu at the top. In "print preview" you can select "print" to print the page. You will want to choose the page orientation, for example portrait or landscape, which works best for you.
Also you may need to remove the page headers and footers so that page numbers, dates, file names, etc. will not be shown on your printed sheet. If you cannot remove headers and footers in "print preview" you may need to try it in "print setup".
There also may be a setting in "print preview" which will change the print size. Normally this can be set at 100%. If the image runs off of the sheet into another page, you can fix that by changing the print size setting to "shrink to fit".
If you page still does not print properly, you can try adjusting the page margins in either "print preview" or "page setup". Most free printable pages are set for .75 or 3/4" margins.
